I feel sorry for her. Something happened to her that broke her spirit. She is without a doubt very smart, but her compulsive ways will be her demise. One who simply cannot stop themselves from spouting off their maniacal rantings is doomed to a life of sadness. My best guess: She had her heart broken either in the U.S., or by someone from the U.S., hence the obsession. But anyway, I'd love to get some other theories, assuming anybody has one.
I don't have much time now, but I'll get back to this as soon as I can. But in short: SAM is smarter than many here give her credit.
SAM needs a husband and it seems that I best fit that criteria, but she is not yet ready to accept me, she has to become more mature and accepting
I think SAM is laughing at all these people on forums..making posts about her and ranting on about her anti americanness. Then she goes and has a friendly meal with her american friends.

SAM is Numero Uno on sciforums. Arguing with her is like trying to grab hold of a cake of soap in a bath, but that is also entertaining.
"Her compulsive ways"? If you would pursue arguments as intensely as she does, would you feel - exhausted, stressed out, confused, deprived, defeated, ...? Do you think that everyone who pursues arguments the way SAM does, feels exhausted, stressed out, confused, deprived, defeated, ...?
Let's have theories about you: you're 'sadness' is really another emotion but you judge whatever this other emotion is so it seems safer to express it as sadness and perhaps safer even for you to experience it as something like sympathy rather than what it really is.

Not at all. All one has to do is play fair, and one gets a completely different quality of communication with SAM, a good one.
