that's it - I need them (to download for my collection + I'm in the mood now to watch them)
Sci-fi shooters where there are aliens
just like the movies Aliens, but not them (I have them)

if not aliens, then atleast future sci-fi

    also not-
    Starship Troopers
    Independence Day
    Event Horizont (no aliens

    Wolfgang Petersen's Enemy Mine.

A brilliant film with a great plot and a good liberal political message. Dennis Quaid is great and Lou Gossett Jr is superb.

The Thing is a classic if you haven't already seen it.

    Enemy Mine is very good.

What about The Day The Earth Stood Still?

Or just buy the Farscape Best Of Season One DVD. Some very good eps on that.

P.S. What about Predator? That movie still scares the hell out of me.

SAVE FARSCAPE!!! (sorry had to do that)

Right, if you can get past the cheesiness, try 'Dog Soldiers'. Pretty good film, but very unrealistic. ie, the Warewolves take at least 20 shotgun shells to the head and still don't die

The Globe is an okay movie. The first 2/3 of the movie is really good, but the last 1/3 is really weak and lame.

Thor, buddy! C'mon! You know better then that! It takes a Wooden stake to kill a Warewolf.
