We certainly never dreamed he would one day become the biggest dog in the world, standing nearly 4ft high at the shoulder, 7ft long and weighing nearly 18 stone. Right now, he just looked bewildered.

He came into our lives in January 2006, just a few months after we had married and set up home in Arizona. We both had busy jobs, Christie selling medical equipment while I was a property developer, but she had always planned that, once she had a house of her own, she would also have a dog.

You wouldn't need a pooper scooper, you'd need a backhoe!

Dogs are frikkin GREAT! Those are some lucky folks to have such a sweet little puppy in their lives.

A bit of dog poop is nothing compared to other things I have handled......seriously. I really do not mind picking up dog poop one little bit. When i was a smoker I used the ash tray too though...."every litter bit hurts".

Think radium, uranium, asbestos etc etc etc...and I am not done with that stuff yet.

The gear is too heavy to haul on a 10 - miler every day though...puppy and I are lazy.

I use little fold - over bags and latex gloves as they can be pressed down pretty small and carried in a butt pack.

It's too bad dog fights are illegal. I'd love to see that dog fight a bear.

Holy shit what an awesome dog! I wonder is there an abnormally large female anywhere they could get him to mate with and make more...

    Danes aren't fighters.

I've seen dogs get in a fight for dominance, and had to very carefully pry them apart... and it's very disturbing.

Huge dog pictures are often Photo-shopped.
This one looks odd. Look at the background.

Or am I saying something that's obvious to everyone?
Sorry if I haven't got the joke.

I think this dog could easily take on a bear or a tiger.
I also think the owner is worried when he has to go to work and leave that dog with his wife lol.

You obviously didn't do your homework before insulting Cosmic, even after he took the unusual measure of introducing the real person behind his screen name and showing us his photograph.

This dog is already in the Guinness Book of Records.

You have been banned for one day for violating the rule against insulting another member.

Cosmic, please accept this apology on behalf of SciForums.

Seems a bit heavy handed. I mean a ban, for that? Having a bad day are we?

Thanks for backing me up. I too thought him implying that I should be the one to fight the dog was too much.

Bear would win, hands down. Even a pitbull would kill it easily.

Remember what the ladies say? It is not the size that matters....

What my terrier (not pitbull) does to big dogs is that he attaches himself to their neckline, and holds on for dear life. Well, he would if it was a real fight...
