I think we can all agree that having Arabic classes will only enhance mutual understanding.

Do you think a whole lot of (native) Danes are going to take those courses, or do you think it will mostly be the children of Arab immigrants ?

Do you think publishing those cartoons was a good idea? Was it helpful to the Danish society?

Does it matter? Don't you think the idea that those classes are available is a step in the right direction?

Who cares ? The cartoons are an example of freedom of speech.
They can make cartoons of the Pope and no riots break out..

Well, the negative aspects were as much about forcible religion and brutality as anything, I think. Some of the portraits were harmless. Not, of course, the faked ones that imams from Denmark chose to incite Pakistanis and Afghans with. Naturally that was all the fault of the cartoons, though. The faked cartoons, and the imams that carried them in.

Hehe. The link you provided states:

Are you suffering from brain damage? Or is this more avoidance?

No - because you hate all Danes based on some cartoons and their freedom of the press.

    Keep guessing.

Anyway, Mo was from the Quraysh, no? Ergo, a Jew.

Yes. How will that boost integration ?

No. Those children should learn Danish. And they can learn Arabic from their parents or some other source that's probably already available, if they must.

If something is going to cause trouble why not just avoid it ?.

Some of them can. It just depend on how they are used and what they are used to justify.

Well that IS what I answered, isn't it ?

Then what's the relevance of bringing it up ?

Like the protests against the Iraq war? Some things require people to speak out.

That would be fine. As long as it isn't paid for by the taxpayer.

No it won't. Not if there are immigrants with attitudes like yours then it doesn't matter what the Danes do or do not do.

Good point! Makes one wonder what those imams were thinking, or why muslims in the West wrote hate mail and death threats against the cartoonists. I mean, if something is going to cause trouble why not just avoid it?

Oh, I forgot: we all know that - according to your logic and Sam's as well - muslims are only reactors. They cannot act of their own accord, or according to their own will.

The same is never true of anyone else, of course.

Quite so. Then again, Sam does believe pretty fervently in monoculturalism. Is education the answer?
