Man honestly.

Why is it that in the society of today, people have become isolated (some in groups)
and they never ****ing bother to socialize with others?

What is it with this fear of.. acceptance? When did we create these boundaries that make us think that we are not 'cool' and have to defend ourselves with a particular persona in order to get 'accepted'?

I really have my complaints about today's socializing world.
Even though I see many people outside having friends and having a ball,
it's much harder to get friends nowadays.
I don't know where the trust, innocence, honesty and loyalty from the old days has gone.

Apparently it's not only in Belgium, that the following happens:
You are in highschool, in a class, maybe 25 people.
None of them invites you with them to go and have lunch.
They all leave in their seperate selfish little groups and maybe half of them
leave alone and have to pass time outside in the city or alone on a chair in the cafetaria.

With university it's not much different. No one cares about you, no one wants to be your friend,
everyone is a cold mean ****.
How in the world do you get friends? How?
I myself am in sports 3 times a week and people there barely keep the communcation above colleague level and then all leave to their own personal lives and don't invite anyone etc..
How are you supposed to make friends if you are alone at a bar and everyone is in groups?
How, in today's society, do you do this?
Hardest ****ing job in the world if you ask me.

Some people choose not to socialize as they don't feel they have a need to, especially people with mental disorders.

I notice people will talk to a complete stranger on shit like facebook or whatever, but not one that is physically present, perhaps even helps them out, hold a door open or whatever...you get a dirty look.

People are in their own little worlds...their little coteries and I have personally started to fuck with it.

i would think that it is because there is less pressure.. or dont feel that added stress with eyes on them... but I will still tense up, and start getting scared when I am with people I dont know.. unless you can make me laugh and put me at ease.. But I have no problem talking to anyone here or there.. I just get alittle scared sometimes

oh, and peeople wonder what you think of them when you are face to face, and online, we could be unwasheds hobos that are nude, and noone knows! hahaa

If you are homeless it is unlikely you have access to the internet.

After 2 days of no shower all I do is smell a bit, I don't see how I'd be messy. Unless you take into account bed hair... THEN... XD. But yes, you are correct.

My hair is long, for a boy at least. @main post: I generally stay away from socializing because I go crazy with tics. So I stay with my group of friends who also tic.

If you want to know people and socialize with them; try to contact those you like and do not be shy about it . Shyness is terrible and does not help you advance in life . If you want something work for it . Friends are like commodities so try to have the good ones only .

I avoid socializing with people in the town I live in because I lived here for too long and know them all too well and know exactly what kind of shitheads most of them are.

Although i don't hang out anymore...cause the internet got me enslaved =|
