Of course, we abandon this causeless universe everytime we put on a labcoat because it makes no sense that things could be random and causeless. Then we search for the beginnings the ends and everything in between and pat ourselves on the back for our acuity in discerning knowledge.
Yeah, we use our reason to argue ourselves into or out of beliefs we think we support, while fully exercising our rights to practise the opposite of what we preach. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
What does this have to do with knowing where I stand on the issue of belief as it relates to atheism?
illustrating that just as you have ways and means to contextualize the beliefs of others, so to others unto yourself it may be your belief that you are beyond scrutiny ..... but welcome to sciforums Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Not at all. My position has been made clear many times. I do not believe in gods. Is that a belief? No.
hence roll out the red carpet for ontological naturalism and/or representational naturalism Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

Since the indoctrinated cultist is only able to accept beliefs, they begin categorizing everything accordingly and filtering that which agrees with their indoctrination and that which doesn't.
Wow. So many oddities in this post. 1) Atheism is not a theory 2) You are misusing and/or misunderstanding O's R. 3) The diagrams function as propaganda but do not represent the two 'theories'. And I mean, I truly dislike Christianity, but this is sloppy thinking. It's like a TV commercial against Christianity but nothing that will teach anyone about critical thinking except if they tear it apart using critical thinking. I suggest you start by going back to O's R and see what he really said and intended his idea to be used for. I'll give you a hint: methodology (and not as a litmus test for truth).
You must have missed the branches of atheism in India. Not to mention ALL the arguments over definitions and meanings of atheism on this site. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Ah, well. But it becomes a satire of arguments against Christrianity, rather than a satire of ....whatever I am guessing it was meant to be a satire of.
