Here is an artwork I did several years ago. The little ship is confronted by a tsunami wave. If it follows the dolphins up the white water to the top of the wave, it will be OK. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
But it cannot at that point, it's at the wrong angle, it will flip over, and it has no steerage because the sails aren't even up.
It was just an abstraction. I got the little ship off the web. That is why it appears pixilated. The wave was from a surfing web site and was actually only waist high on a sunny day, in the original pic. I added an interesting orange sky, blended all the layers and then added more interesting lighting. The result is the little ship and the rogue wave.
Looks as if that ship has been through a big cannon fight and lost as well. No one left that I can see either, they all made it into life rafts before this wave ever formed.
Here is another abstraction I call this one "evil-vs-evil". It represents the battle between the dark sides of religion and atheism. Turning the other cheek and being a sheep, attracted wolves. Religious lions then appear to deal with the wolves. In the picture, the evil bishop is about to unmask his adversary, using the laws of evil, to deal with evil. Here is one more from my art collection. This last one was also done beginning with fractal patterns. I used a similar techique as evil v evil. In this case a very serene scene popped out of nowhere. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

that looks like patina on copper. Pretty cool . We do it with blow torches. It takes skill to get the right pattens . Then you need a clear coat to preserve the look . Likey Likey
