Are you not familier with the fact that a Photon torpedo contains a matter/anti-matter warhead? In real life and in ST, do you KNOW what a matter/anti-matter explosion is like?

I do, and if an Anti-Matter and Matter human touched each other, it's explosion would be like a nuke.

Anyways, the trekkies are forgetting that the Republic can fight EVERYWHERE the Federation can't. The Republic can use that as an advantage, they can exterminate the Federation ground troops at places like Hoth, Kamino. O, i forgot the Federation is not smart enough to train infantry. Technology is used to support infantry not replace it. The Federation will think they can board a Star Destoryer and surrive or take it over they are wrong! the only reason the Federation troops will get exterminated is because if you attack the republic, you are not gonna get away with it.

 

Photon torpedoes are shaped charges, meaning they focus their energy in one spot, unlike a normal bomb. That way, they can obtain the equal of a 81.9 megaton bomb without having to actually put as much antimatter/matter into it.

Five Worlds, CIS, Republic, Galactic Empire, New Republic, Galactic Alliance, Chiss, and Hapes. They have billions of ships combianed. note that it would take forever for the Star Trek ships to get to Coruscant. Coruscant is defened 24/7 by thousand of Star destoryers.
