Centerpoint? YOU ARE JOKING right? The station that ONLY a handful of people can use? The same CENTERPOINT STATION that was obliterated and CANNOT be rebuilt because nobody knows how?

Seeing that the balance of power would tip greatly in favor of anyone who possessed its enormous destructive force, Grand Master Luke Skywalker and the New Jedi Order carried out a raid upon the station in order to finally destroy it. Jedi Master Kyp Durron led the raid, with Toval Seyah, a Galactic Alliance scientist and former spy who had worked on the station in the past. Seyah was able to modify Centerpoint's galactic data reserves in such a way that all coordinates in the galaxy were altered to become those of the station.

During the pitched battle between Confederation and Galactic Alliance forces, a technician named Rikel who had lost his wife on the galactic capital of Coruscant to the Galactic Alliance Guard was left in charge of the station's fire controls. He set the coordinates to target Coruscant itself. When he fired Centerpoint, the massive construction targeted itself. The resulting gravitic pulse detonated the station, wiping all traces of the enigmatic structure from the system, killing all on board, and destroying countless vessels in its blast radius.

Proof that SW shields don't block physical objects... the suncrusher (with it's VERY low mass compared to a SD) was able to fly thru a SD bridge unbothered...

Also, the sun crusher is WEAKER than the Intrepid class light cruiser from Star Trek:

An asteroid never took out a SD, it simply disrupted its communications. They stayed in the asteroid field for days. They never thought a Starfighter posed a threat. It is an exhaust port, it supposed to let matter out. They have particle shields too. Katarn armor is armor wore by the Republic Commandos, only a laser cannon that hit it square on the chest and even put a dent in it, but it is not as good as Mandalorian armor. They all have reasons why it is never shown on the movies, for example we never saw a Republic Commando on the screen so we never got to see their armor. Commandos can snipe very well. You are using Clone Wars as reference umm. Ever saw the Malevolence series, yeah that ion cannon got to do the job. There is no turbolaser that ever fired on endor, those are light laser cannons. Katarn armor probably have enough power to power a personal shield generator, and besides commandos can fight well even if there is a 40 kilo pack on his back ( without tech help ). Katarn armor can withstand hard vacuum, so air is no problem. And plus the Republic might let the commandos try out Alpha Red on the UFP.

2) No it is no threat to a SD unless there is a capital ship backing it up and the shields are already pretty much offline.

 

They didn't run it into a moon, Skywalker hacked the computer. I think the seps will be low on supplies, because the commandos and ARCs keep sabotaging the factories and supplies. Plus the Republic Navy will not let seps transport supplies without a fight.

 

Sun Crusher was a prototype, plus the Sun Crusher is only the size of a starfighter.

Again,an asteroid never destroyed a SD, it damaged it, and they were in that asteroid field for days. They kill the admirals, because they have better ones. It is not like they didn't try to make the HTL smaller. I said it would be EASIER to pack more firepower into a larger ship. They have starfighters to the chasing.

 

Only a handful of people can use, because of the AI won't perimit other people it is not like they didn't know how. They can trick the Centerpoint into thinking Anakin Solo is using it. They had to destroy it from the inside, or they would of just pounded it to dust.

Laser cannons are one of the weakest weapons besides a hand held blaster. Data is an android, Commandos are human, see the difference? They can use the Alpha Red to target other genes.
