Let me guess, this is from the media that supports a dictator in Pakistan and ignores the one million Hindu Indian Kashmiris who have been displaced by terrorists armed and funded by Americans [aka mujahideen]. hehe

So they haven't taken a bite out of another country to open a torture prison? Have they discarded habeas corpus? Are they kidnapping foreign citizens in foreign countries and torturing them?

Heh, any "news" from these esteemed organisations on the US tossing out habeas corpus and running concentration camps? The occupation of two sovereign countries? The CIA death squads? The sodomy of ten year olds? The deaths by torture?

SAM India has abandoned Habeas Corpus, when it deems necessary, they even made it a admendment to the Constitution of India:

You did not provide a source. Again.

    1. Arbitrary suspension of habeas corpus is not a a Presidential directive

    2. This was following the assassination of the Prime Minister and widespread riots in Punjab. It was a state of civil war.

There were lots of atrocities on both sides but they were resolved by diplomacy and we now have a Sikh Prime Minister. There was a HUGE uproar in the media, the Supreme court heard both sides of the issue and handed out appropriate punishments.

Now tell me what the US goverment has done for its atrocities worldwide.

It's your Constitution, read it, the 59th Admendment.

I read it, and I told you the result.

Now tell me what the US government and the American people have done about US atrocities worldwide

The same as India, what was ever in the Best Interest of the Country.

But your definition of Atrocities, and who it applies to is highly suspect to say the least, you seem to always covalently forget Islam in the picture.

Suicide Bombings, by Moslems on Jihad, against any civilian target is a Atrocity, Targeting and killing your own Moslem believers is a Atrocity, wiping out other religions, and their believers by Jihad, is a Atrocity.

The U.S. investigate all allegations of Atrocities, and if there is evidence, they bring charges against those who have been accused of those Atrocities, it holds trial, based on evidence, and renders verdict on those accusation based on evidence and if found Guilty, it renders judgement on the act of that Atrocity, and sentences those found Guilty.

Now please point out the same or similar action on the Part of Islam for the Atrocities committed in the Name of Allah, and Jihad, oh I forget no crime is committed while on Jihad, no matter how Atrocious.

So its in the best interest of the United States to occupy foreign countries, kidnap foreign citizens and have torture centers.

The investigations are bogus, they have done nothing about public declarations of war atrocities, deaths in custody, sodomy of children and boiling of skulls.

Didn't the US hold Nuremberg trials for people who thought like that?

    Did you?

India amended it's constitution in 1988 to allow for the suspension of Habeas Corpus, so you are OK with that?

No it is now codified in to the India Constitution for the President to use, with out dissent.

The U.S. has the same problem, widespread attacks against its property, by none national actors, who don't qualify as nation states, or qualify as criminals under our civil laws.

The U.S. still has never codified the rescission of Habeas Corpus into our Constitution.

Yet you want to castigate the U.S.

Now as a matter of fact, a combatant or anyone else, captured on the Battle Field has always been subject to Tribunal to determine their status, it is allowed for in the IHL and the Geneva Convention, and then when that status has been determined, POW, Legal Combatant, or Civilian, only the Civilian has the right to challenge his detention by Habeas Corpus, the spy or the illegal combatant has never had the right to Habeas Corpus, under the G.C. or the IHL.

You haven't answered my question, so let me make it specific.

What punishment was given to the troops who sodomized the ten year olds in Iraq? Where are those children now? What has been done for them?
