How about Commander Skywalker's army vs Colonel West's army. ( I mean Commander Skywalker as Anakin Skywalker during the clone wars ) According to the ranks, it is fair becuase Colonel West our rank Commander Skywalker.

ARCs have alot of equitment that Starfleet officers don't have, they are Advanced Recon Commandos. Do every four maine have a ship or shuttle in the Starfleet? Do they have high aerobic training?

    doubtful.
Clone Wars showed no such ability.
They required a remote unit to rise above buildings for a clear scan.
    And obvious impairment.

They stumbled across troops using only line of sight vision.
They were either inept or incapable.

It is important because, if you are a Starfleet Sercuity guard and ARCs holding Chaingun Blasters, and RCs holding snipers and rapid blaster rifle, would you go touch your communicators or scream like hell?

New Jedi Order: The Unifying Force

The Republic is not GFFA it is the Galatic Republic, the GAR have more then enough firepower to deal with the Federation. It is not fool-proof but it is a good tactic, if the federation ships retreat to warp they can outrun them with hyperspace.

    umm... Universal translator.. anyone?

    Star Fleet infantry

"Explosions rock Jake awake. He runs to the rest of the people and the head surgeon explains that they are evacuating the cave and they must move quickly and orderly if they are to survive. As most people evacuate, Jake is hiding under a table. The explosions frighten him away from the room he is in and Starfleet infantry personnel give him cover as the Klingons appear in the cave. Jake is soon pinned down by disruptor fire under a table and fires a phaser rifle blindly around the room. The room begins to collapse upon the Klingons and Jake as he screams in fear."

Chief Burke was a Starfleet soldier who fought on Ajilon Prime when it was attacked by Klingons during the Second Federation-Klingon War in 2373. His platoon was attacked and forced to withdraw in a hopper due to the Klingons' use of transport inhibitors. Chief Burke stayed behind to cover the hopper and eventually died due to injuries that he sustained during the battle. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong")

Each Republic Commando squad ( 4 men ) have a sensor specialist called Communications, they have more then enough senors. Watch every single Clone Wars show, the ARC demostrated the ability to penetrate almost everywhere and they have very effctive weapons. ( Only the RCs have sensor specialist ) The Republic would have Holocams everywhere so they can see the whole city with lots of detail. ARCs can dodge the Phasers.

Not every Sercuity Guard have a translator, and Galatic Basic is way diffrent compared to any of the Star Trek languages.

Okay federation have marines, so? GAR have RCs and ARCs.

    I don't understand.

I'm afraid GFFA has not shown superior fire power in canon.
These sensor specialist you speak of don't appear in canon either.

actually they do ALL have translators

    http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Universal_translator

in the 24th century, UT technology had advanced to where it could be integrated into the combadges worn by Starfleet personnel. (VOY: "The 37's")

shouldn't have any problems since their humanoid... It only occasionally has problems with really exotic species

Just showing that the federation does have infantry, which you had previously denied.. we really don't know anything about their effectiveness, but they are there.

The Unifying Force displayed no vaporizing that I'm aware of. If they did then This would display a superiority of weaponry over the GFFA forces, achieving a powerlevel with lava that which could not be attained by GFFA tech.

I never said anything about GFFA. Is Clone Wars novle canon by your standards? If yes, then Republic Commandos series.

How on earth will then the RCs and ARCs understand english? They might think the warning is declearing a war and they will blast the Sercuity. Remember they don't understand English.

    ?

    explain.
i think it's pretty clear they could use the translator to understand basic, since there are about half a dozen incidents in the entire franchise where it didn't work.

If you are a federation officer, and ARCs are pointing Blaster Chainguns at you and RCs are pointing Rapid blaster rifles and snipers at you. Would you scream like hell or touch your communicators. Most likey you will scream like hell.
