So how many among us have the dubious distinction of having killed another person? Myself, nope, not yet.
Yes. We already covered this under a topic about having used guns. And no, it wasn't murder - ever heard of Nam?
I'm glad you didn't mention me! Why don't you like Kadark? He's reasonable. Perhaps a bit extreme, but his opinions are sensible and moral.
Because he is a putrid, walking rape and I sincerely hope he contracts MND or something similarly destructive. Ok, AIDS would do, but I don't think you can get that from sheep... Seriously. Blaming women for being sexually harassed because, god forbid, their clothes cling to their body a little, is neither reasonable nor moral.
I believe the OP reference killing not murdering. Is there no distinction for you Norsefire? How do you intend to maintain your "one world order" without force? Without deadly force? Would that make the state guilty of murder? Are there no exigent circumstances?
I thought she was referring to murder. No, I do not think all killing is murder; of course, there are exceptions such as self defense, death penalty, and war
I agree. Basically, all I can see it doing is raising emotions and leading to useless, pointless, never-ending arguments.
Well, that too. That is more or less the "Politics and World Events" fora. Threads such as this shouldn't exist, as not everybody is as comfortable revisiting their demons. And I shudder to think what would happen if another ex-military man (with service in Afghanistan or Iraq) wandered into the discussion.
Yes, it brought back some VERY unpleasant memories for me - and would for any military person with a conscience. (Just in passing, I'd be a bit careful about the term military man.)Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I understand. But I think this is a bad idea. These are not things which should be posted here, considering that we can check IP addresses and such. Please, someone, lock this thread. I am honestly scared that no good will come of this.
I guess I'm one of the extreme few on here that falls under this catagory... thanks, or no thanks, to four years active duty and two deployments to Iraq.
