Adolf Hitler, the Irish folk music fan - new documents reveal
Newly released historical photographs reveal that famous Irish musician Sean Dempsey played for Adolf Hitler in 1936, and the Nazi dictator loved his music.

Dempsey, an uileann piper, was invited to play for Hitler and propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels during a visit to Berlin in 1936 after being told that Hitler was an Irish folk music fan.
Just goes to show: Who doesn’t love Irish folk music!

Why is the fact that Hitler like Irish folk music surprising? He also didn’t like coffee and was actually photographed being kind to children!

Mao never brushed his teeth and disliked wearing new shoes (his bodyguards would wear them first to break them in). It is claimed that Stalin disliked cabbage.

Why is everyone so surprised that these people are human, after all?

The horror, the horror. The man had no taste or common sense.

Because they are meant to be scapegoats for our own evils. Empathy is not allowed.

American Indian genocide? Never heard of it... you meant the Holocaust of course.

Mind you Irish folk music is still lightyears ahead of the bleating and wailing certain other parts of the world call "music".

You're right, I apologize. In future we should stick to discussions about why it's ok to launch mortars at Israeli kids, less people tend to get offended that way.

I'm sorry you have a problem with the fact that I resent the fact you believe people need to be drunk to enjoy irish folk music but I enjoy it and I don't drink as for the rest trolling comment why do you feel the need to interject about the validity of responses to Israel oppression in this thread?

Adolf Hitler was also quite the writer and painter.

People just like to demonize others that they don't like. At the end of the day, though, while Hitler may have done some bad things, he was also an interesting, engaged fellow that had his own dream and vision for the world.

Hitler's dream: kill all the Russians and steal their land for Germans to breed on!
Hitler's reality: in a ditch, covered in petrol, on fire, while the advancing Red Army captured East Germany.

Moral of the story: don't fuck with Russia.
