coined words

    OK this is barely linguistics, but then I am guessing those who go into linguistics are more likely to join in.

    Please coin a word by combining a couple of other words. Include a definition.

    Hidiocy: Noun - 1) any human made artifact that is both significantly unattractive and problematic in some way - eg. expensive, inconvenient, dangerous. 2) Technical term in modern dance criticism used for works that in the name of uniqueness have lost all aesthetic appeal.

    I think I posted something like the following here or in some other forum.
    • Foreploy: A strategm or lie used in order to obtain sex.

      Ignoranus: A person who is both ignorant & an asshole.

      Intaxication: A euphoric feeling due to a large tax return which lasts until you realize that it is your own money that was held for a year by the government & collected no interest.
    Note that all of the above are derived by changing one letter of an existing word.

    There are other examples which add one letter to an existing word.
