amadeus: overrated.

i was underwhelmed, was it a poor year for movies and they had nowhere else to put all their oscars/baftas/golden globes? or am i missing something? i found the jealousy routine unconvincing and i didn't identify with the characters.the concept of mozart creating something so great and not having it recognised, and how that affected him, was interesting, and pretty much its only saving grace.

wanted to get some feedback, i didn't appreciate bladerunner or brave new world fully on the first readings/viewings. do i need to give amadeus another go or is it just not that good?
