Russian bullies acting like Scientologists

I cant wait till Anonymous and Legion mature into something that tackles more than just insane religions and starts concentrating on other evil forces like the Russian government.

I swear.. its like a government of wife beaters who feel they can only get respect by pulling out their rather small penis`s.

Im pretty pissed off at the latest siffness coming outta Russia. For those of you who dont know I am an Internet Security Specialist. Every day of my life I deal with this kinda crap but on a smaller scale. 90% of the crap I deal with (identity theft, hacking attempts, dDos attacks, spam, phishing and scams) come from Russian networks.

Anyone who knows anything in the industry knows that by default unless you are dealing with a company in Russia.. you should block all known Russian IPs. Expecially those on the Russian Business Network (where I would say most of the worlds child porn and other illegal activity is hosted).

About once a month I get a new client phoning me to tell me that they are being blackmailed by Russian hackers. Basically unless the client pays, Russian hackers threaten to knock the clients services offline. Some pay, some dont.. it depends on how much they can spend to protect themselves.

This is no small thing.. its not like it seldom happens.. its like it always happens. They are an organised group of cartels and thugs that run with Kremlin blessing.

We all know the Russian government regulary kills off journalists or humanatarian workers (seems thats all they have the balls to handle) who try expose the truth of the crimes.. or that they bully and attack people and nations for not towing the Kremlins line.

Ive written in this forum about their attacks on Estonia, Poland and several other countries.

Now it seems from the land of hackers with small pensis that theyre now using their illegal botnets to target basically.. anyone critical of them. I hope this post doesnt get this site knocked offline by posts like this one.

The latest wife beating tactic the Russian government is trying to do is to supress Georgians who are not too happy about Russian occupation and the fact that Russia invaded them.

Well anyways, I am not going to continue ranting on about Russias cowardly hackers for now.. Ill let you read the latest STD to come from that region of the world.

Twitter DDoS Attack Politically Motivated, says ReportThe distributed denial of service attack on Thursday that targeted Twitter, Facebook, LiveJournal, and several Google sites may have been politically motivated. The reported target of these attacks was a blogger named Cyxymu from the Eastern European country of Georgia who is an outspoken supporter of his country. Facebook's chief security officer, Max Kelly has said the attack was coordinated to "keep his [Cxymu's] voice from being heard," according to Cnet.

If Kelly is right, then the cyber attack may have been coordinated by Russian hackers or those with Russian sympathies. Tensions have been heightened between Russia and Georgia since last year's brief war between the two countries over the contested region of South Ossetia. There is no clear evidence as to who perpetrated yesterday's cyber attack, but Cxyxmu earlier today suggested the attack was perpetrated by the KGB -- the now-defunct security agency for the former Soviet Union.

Although yesterday's DoS attack targeted a wide range of social network and blogging sites, it was only Twitter that suffered a significant outage. Facebook and LiveJournal suffered slowdowns as a result of the attack, while Google users were not significantly impacted.

One day.. enough will be enough and I can see its a very good possibility that groups like Anonymous/Legion will turn on bullies as siff as Russian hackers.

The Russian government is composed of a bunch of cowards with too much power. Theyre too chicken to fight a real country that could stand up to it so they hit like girls at targets that cant hit back at them.

COWARDS!!!
