yesterday i had a new tattoo done its on my ankle and i swear it hurts more than my others did, (even though it looks good), so what would you say is the most painfull part fo the body to tattoo?

i dont normally have any pain after tattoos, but this one is killing me, but when its healed it will ook good so its all good

A tattooist suggested to me that it's really dependant on your build. If you have a few extra pounds here and there, you're likely to have more fatty tissue. The fatty tissue itself bruises relatively easily, so you can suggest it will be more painful, bleed more and take a while to heal afterwards.

In fact his anecdote on the guy he tattoo around the flubby "love handles" was that it bled so much the ink was just washing straight out. The guy wanted a rather large tat all in one session and well he wasn't impressed with the bruise both then or the week after. (Serves him right asking for a freebie and doing it all in one sitting.)

My tattoo on the thin part of my thigh, the outside, didn't hurt and my tattoo artist said it would really be painful. I also have a high pain threshold.
