Sadly, people are so lost right now that they are really buying into this stuff. Or maybe worse, things appear so screwed up in the world that anything short of wild explaination cannot decribe the horrors with justice. Either way, we're dealing in strange times.
Well, there's a few scenarios but most people believe at least one. a. Human technology and population growth will soon destroy the planet as we know it. b. Human decadence has grown so that a deity will soon destroy the planet as we know it. c. Astronomic/Astrological phenomena will soon destroy the planet as we know it. d.Microbiological life forms will soon destroy the planet as we know it. and now e. Lizards that run the world and live in underground bunkers are going to eat us. Which doomsday cult do you belong to?
Indeed they are. Such lovable and cuddly little minxes. They are also great if you need to start a campfire and left those dastardly matches at home. I keep a dragon in my handbag just for that very reason. And when it is dusk, I let him loose in the garden to chase down the garden gnomes and fairies at the bottom of my garden. Life is the scientific and solid side of existence. When you die however... thats when things get a little more on the "pseudo-science" side of things. When a person dies, their body decomposes, eventually grass will be grown from that, blah blah blah, we know this already. When atomic matter is dead its exactly like a night of deep dark sleep where hours pass in perceivable seconds... or faster. The point is, your atomic matter could possibly time travel through trillions of years instantly until it reaches some form of consciousness once again....
