"Gordon Brown's statement that he wants "British jobs for British workers" has created a political furore."

It's all give and no take.
Hundreds of thousands of workers migrate here from Europe in search of work every year. It's FAR rarer for British workers to do the same, yet in November 2008 unemployment figures stood at almost 2 million. (http://www.abcmoney.co.uk/news1/Bri...omic-slowdown-takes-hold---Summary,193732.htm)

My quarrel lies with Cameron, who has on more than one occasion labelled the strikes as 'racist', and continually seeks to associate Brown with the BNP. The demonstrations have swelled to enormous size up and down the country with no real progress made. I personally feel deeply sorry for the workers involved.

We're fucked mate - on the one hand we've got a slightly right of centre authoritarian party that's all about jobs for the boys , nanny state, mutual back scratching, nest feathering, and back stabbing each other and the competition and on the other hand we have a party that's a slightly right of centre authoritarian party that's all about jobs for the boys , nanny state, mutual back scratching, nest feathering, and back stabbing each other and the competition.

I wonder which issue that they hold almnost identical stances over will be important to me next election :bugeye:
