    Sorry if I posted this in the wong place, I didnt know whether the free thoughts section or this one. I apologize in advance.

    Anyway, can you vote if you've been arrested for a felony offense?

    Yes. But if one has been convicted of a felony, then the answer is "No", in most States (excluding Maine, Massachusetts, Utah, and Vermont). Along with our unparalleled rate of imprisonment in the USA, this is a systematic disenfranchisement of democratic rights that is unparalleled among nations that include voting in their political processes. Nearly 4 million USAmericans (1 in 50 of us) are presently excluded from participating in our democracy because they are convicted felons.
