This is calling for people for a full mafia game not the cut down version we are still recruiting for.

There will be an unlimited number of players and mafia and killers will be assigned compleatly randomly so you wont know the percentage of mafia to town

If nessary i will manipulate the number though so your not ALL mafia though

yea ill run it, i cant promis the story line will be 100% as good as james (BTW james if you read this could you send me some of the secret info you sent the gospip caricters so that i have some idea of what to use)

Because i dont have any power in free thoughts the game thread will be located in B&E

there will be some new secret roles introduced in this game which i hope will make this game different from the last

Im still working out some of them but so far im thinking of a mafia don, a mafia hit man, under cover cop

Will take suggestions as to others

For an example i just thought up the idea of the under cover cop who is a townsman working in the mafia but if he is descovered at any time a vote from a majority of the mafia members would instantly kill him even during the day time.

So far these are just examples and when i actually assigne sectret rolls they will be random and no one will know even if they exist

I'm in, but I should tell you that I'll be away for 2 days mid next week, so I may have to put my votes in in advance.

Also, the game doesn't necessarily have to have a traditional mafia theme. It could be Star Trek or Harry Potter or Aliens or something else.

A mafia-town ratio of about 1 to 2 (or perhaps 2 to 3) seems to be about right. If there are many more mafia (e.g. equal mafia and townspeople), then mafia will almost surely win.

Secret roles where nobody knows what the roles of the players are until the end (or when they are killed/lynched/arrested) can also work well.

thats a good point james.

I will give some thought to rolls and a story line and look to start the game probably sunday or monday all things concidered

In the mean time anyone who is desprate to play can play the speedy game which will start tomorow. If anyone else wishes to join that game needs to put there name in tomorow

Also if anyone has a good story line sugestion feel free to suggest it and i might run with it

Do you guys prefer a new theme game or traditional?

How about nobody knows if someone was mafia or not even when they die? So that they don't know if they're on the right trail?

Actually I am worried about something. James and Stryder are supermoderators.
Of course like all other moderators, they can see who are online in invisible mode,
so if they want, they can also see who doing what in the night time (e.g. PM-ing).
If both of them are signed as mafia, then there is no problem. But if any of them
are signed as townspeople, they can easily spot who doing PM-ing during nights,
and so they can guess who are mafia. I am afraid if I am a townpeople and I check
my PM during night, I will be suspected as mafia T_T

That will be unfortunate for the townspeople, because the mafia always know
how many are they, but the townspeople are not.

Or do you mean the mafia should also not be informed about who are their
fellows? Then how do they know whom to be killed??
