There you have it. Now return the Shebaa farms. Otherwise Hezbollah, Lebanese, Syrian, and the entire world community have a right to call Israel an occupier and resistance is justified. Israel makes its own enemies, why don't you realize that?
so was there a dispute before israel "occupied it"? and what about ragar?

    INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED???

    Look carefully at this map:

United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine (into Jewish and Arab land), Res. 181

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...GA_181_Map.png

On 29 November 1947, the United Nations General Assembly voted 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions, in favour of the Partition Plan, while making some adjustments to the boundaries between the two states proposed by it. Switching their votes from November 25 to November 29 to provide the two-thirds majority were Liberia, the Philippines, and Haiti. All heavily dependent on the United States, they had been lobbied to change their votes. [75]

The division was to take effect on the date of British withdrawal from the Mandate Territory of Palestine. Both the United States and Soviet Union supported the resolution.

The 33 countries (58%) that voted in favour of the partition were: Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Byelorussian SSR, Canada, Costa Rica, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Guatemala, Haiti, Iceland, Liberia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Sweden, South Africa, Ukrainian SSR, United States of America, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Uruguay, Venezuela.

The 13 countries (23%) that voted against resolution were: Afghanistan, Cuba, Egypt, Greece, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Yemen.

The 10 countries (17%) that abstained were: Argentina, Chile, Republic of China, Colombia, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Honduras, Mexico, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Yugoslavia.

One state (2%) was absent: Thailand.

The people of Shebaa farms are not Jews, they are Arabs. Hence, it is occupied land. No amount of support from Europeans or Americans will ever justify Israel's view.

Again, why doesn't Syria provide a written document bearing Assad's personal signature stating that Shebaa is Lebanese? It would take 5 minutes to type it up. All "guarantees" Syria has made to date are verbal. Not even worth the energy of the air vibrations that were used to voice the promises. And again, Syria and Lebanon do have access to Shebaa, as part of the UN delegation tasked with sorting out claims to the area. Nothing is stopping them from sending over a few surveyors to get the job done, except for the obvious fact that Shebaa is not the real issue here. Tell me Israel is making enemies when its neighbours have ceased to call for its destruction either by military or demographic means. 'Til then, Israel has no reason to give the time of day to anyone who is threatening to slaughter it, and if Lebanon or Syria decides to attack Israel after the precedent set by 2006, they are inviting yet another catastrophe on their own heads.

that sure explains why arabs occupying arabs is never being criticized by other arabs. when syria occupied sheeba farms and ragar, the lebanese didnt fire rockets or established a resistance. yet now they are justifying their aggression.

    how very lame.

Syria and Lebanon threatening to slaughter Israel, are you serious?

Israel has more than 200 nuclear warheads. Israel has the largest and well-equipped military in the world which it uses against one of the poorest communities in the world, the Palestinians.

Who invaded Lebanon? What is Syria? NOT IT WAS ISRAEL.

Who is the threat to peace in the Middle East, and its only one country which supported the invasions in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Which justified and provided false intelligence to America that Iraq had WMDs.

Israel has been, is, and will remain the biggest threat for peace in the Middle East.

sure they do. after sheba farms, theyll find a new excuse, and slowly they will make us withdraw, and when that doesnt work theyll start firing, just like the Sudetenland. its the same old tactic, use the good intention of your neighbor, use the fact the west will sell them out to prevent war, and when the ruse is out and you are strong enough, start the war.

If you look zoom in close enough, you may see all the Native Palestinian gulags thanks to the European colonists of Israel.

Are you kidding? Syria didn't invade Lebanon? In which parallel universe? Did 30 000 Lebanese just decide to dig holes in the ground and toss themselves in, as a show of their love for Assad? How many Lebanese have you spoken to? I had a neighbour who was almost jacked and killed by Syrian troops when he was in Lebanon, where the hell do you suppose they came from?

How many Israeli troops has the UN documented serving in Iraq and Afghanistan? You have more to gripe about with the French than you do with Israel if this is your criterion. And as for the Iraqi WMD's, you have your own arab friends to thank for the misinformation. Ahmed Chalabi ring a bell? Let's see your proof that he was actually born on Israeli soil.

Israel, how do you justify killing thousands of civilians for two soldiers? That is simply ridiculous. I have never heard of this in the whole history of mankind.

Any war against any Muslim country, you will see Israel support it. Afghanistan, Iraq, now Iran and Syria. Israel uses the foolish Americans to do its dirty work while it applauds from the background. Just look at the stuff coming out of Israel and AIPAC supporting the invasion of Iran. After that, it will be some place else.

I'm not Israel. And what was your proposed option for getting the troops back? Why didn't the UN observers do their jobs, instead of sitting back and watching silently as the raid took place? No, Hezbollah should be free to go cross the border at will and kill troops. A couple of Lebanese dead would have made it even Steven and Israel could have moved on. Uh huh.

The Hezbollah rocket attacks coincided with the Israeli bombings. If Hezbollah killed hundreds, Israel killed thousands. You cannot compare the two. The Shebaa Farms is Lebanese territory, the people there are Lebanese, therefore Israel has no right to occupy it.

The reason why Hezbollah is so popular is because of how reckless and barbaric israel behaves twoards the Arabs, from whatever country who are occupied in Shebaa Farms, Palestine, and Golan Heights.

It is this perpetual continuing death, poverty, and oppression which breeds anger against Israel. Until you realize this, you will forever be lost and your enemies will only multiply.
