Cleaner air leads to increased warming?

Ok, can someone tell me what this article is trying to a imply, if it's what it claims is possible and if you think the Climate Change hype has reached a new level of stupid?

    Thanks.

    That would be stupidity.
    It's an adjective.

p.s the piece is either tongue in cheek or unworthy of comment.

It's old news, just some new evidence and a different mechanism dominant than had been thought most likely.

The first real check of that longstanding possibility came in the wake of 9/11, when the jet contrails vanished from North American skies for several days. The results, in trapped irradiance energy in the lower atmosphere, were significant enough to create a small stir - it's a genuine worry, now, what will happen to temps if the soot and aerosols and so forth are reduced significantly, as is planned and hoped, while the slower-responding CO2 concentration remains high.
