The Tardis

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this speculation.

I'm just watching the Dr Who series: Marco Polo. In it, the Tardis is taken on a wagon and moved around China. The Tardis is essentially a 3D representation of a 4D (4 physical dimensions) structure.

Would it be incredibly heavy in that to move it, you would have to overcome the inertia of it's fourth dimensional component, or is it just the 3D part which is being moved, which is essentially a "connecting tunnel" to the 4D part of the Tardis?
