I am working with a group of astronomers, community organizations, and science educators to launch Project Epiphany, an initiative that will provide transformative astronomy learning experiences to children growing up in high poverty, light-polluted, urban communities.

We've submitted our idea to Ideablob, where we can win a $10,000 start-up award if we get the most votes. We are doing well so far, but we will need many more votes to win. So far, Project Epiphany is one of the top ranked ideas (and we only have about 50 votes) - that means that a few votes from the science community could make the difference.

Please take a few minutes to check out our idea and vote at Ideablob.com - just click on Project Epiphany on the homepage. (Sorry - can't post links yet).

There is a short registration form (just so they can track votes), but it only takes a second to fill out and they won't spam you.

If you have any questions about the project or about voting, please feel free to contact me at projectepiphany@mac.com
Thanks in advance for your support!
