If you thought that everything was fine and dandy with the Reps, think again:

After a super-majority of Ron Paul supporters captured control of the Republican state convention Saturday, state party officials abruptly canceled the event without electing delegates to the national convention....

RENO - The Nevada Republican Convention ended in near pandemonium Saturday after Ron Paul supporters outmaneuvered party leadership and set themselves up to claim nearly all the state's 31 delegates to the national convention...

As things stand now, the party must issue notice to re-convene. Party official have said that this will probably be in Las Vegas but the rules state that the convention is to be held in Reno for this cycle.

...In a written statement, party chairwoman Sue Lowden said the vote to allow self-nominations doubled the number of people competing for 31 spots to the national convention. That overwhelmed the party's capacity to process the votes.

"Unfortunately, with the rule changes implemented this morning, we did not have time to complete the process," she said. "Our contract for the meeting space had expired, as had our budget, and ballots were unable to be physically produced by the nominations committee. We had to temporarily recess the convention."

This has been happening all over the place, at conventions throughout the nation.

Reno just happened to be the one with the biggest splash so far. We might see something similar in Montana where Paul got 2nd place behind Romney. But I'm pretty sure Paul's getting almost all of the Nevada delegates to the RNC.

    Paul Supporters hijack Nevada Convention!

What with all the chaos on the Democratic side, you may not have heard this story. At the Republican convention in Nevada Ron Paul's supporters attained a super-majority and took over the convention.

The large group of Paul supporters was energized by a speech Paul game that
Anyway, the end result was they had to reschedule the event because
I thought everyone but McCain had dropped out of the race, but apparently not.
The whole story is kind of confusing. But it's interesting to see Ron Paul supporters still at it. I'd like to see him take the VP spot. This kind of energy is sorely need in the McCain campaign. Read the whole story here:
