    You know when you get an adrenaline rush, that sensation near your diaphragm that's like a mild electric shock? What is that exactly?

    I always thought it was my adrenal glands shirting out adrenaline, I would figure for a brief moment the adrenaline levels in the local area of the glands after discharge would be outstandingly high, high enough to stimulating local nerves into sending electric shock like sensations to the brain.
