I think they are all really one in the same when examined closely. Each and every one of them trace back to one single core concept, a plausible one, that "there is a greater entity beyond" Now, the specifics, as ridiculous as most, if not all, are, I believe to simply be the product of culture and imagination. The actual core belief, however, I think is very scientifically plausible, just as much so as the big bang.
