I can understand some of the questions posted on this section of the forum, but chimps in planes? cat butts? I guess I fail to see the scienctific reasoning behind the questions? how does anyone decide what topics can get posted, yes I read the rules, so I think they are off-topic about chimps & cat's butts (a pet forum maybe?). so does anything go here? I have a few theories I want debated, to post later also, did I miss the newbie page, with how to's?

And pray tell us what is unscientific about cat butts. (Or Felix Fundamenta, as we scientists call it) And as for whether Ostriches could fly if strapped into a leg-powered flying machine, this is a pure science question.

But don't worry about them. They form less than 50% of the membership. Science: Science is not about what is, but about why it is so, or how can it be. So long as your posts fall within this remit, or the developments of them, and especially if you are entertaining rather than annoying, you are welcome here.
