Thanks Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!, but It was more luck than smarts unfortunately. Since it looked sort of like a lady-bug (dome shaped round insect), I figured it was a type of beetle ---- and since it loitered around the house plants, I figured it was probably a pest. I googled "beetle + pest", and this is the google image result from the third page http://images.google.com/images?q=p...&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&start=42&sa=N I was convinced it was the same beetle (and posted the reply) after comparing the spoon-shape of the antennas --- which closely matches this pic: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
