perhaps she has had the book read to her so many times she can remember what it says! my son would do it all the time!
Incredible. She seems happy enough, and certainly doen't appear autistic. And it looks like she can read anything put in front of her, not just a favourite book. Some of the words she can read would be tough for a seven year old.
I agree. when I saw this I wondered (like the mom) : Is there a anyone on earth qualified to help guide these parents on how to go about her education?
Her parents are both speech pathologist. I assume they have a fair idea of what they are doing. Some children do take to reading or mathematics from a very early age. The trick is to start very young. And I mean from probably about 4 to 5 months of age. Reading to her, flash cards, etc, can all help. Turn her education into a form of play and game. Takes time and patience.
