So the thread about being god got me thinking, if you were god and you decided to bring about the Apocalypse how would you do it? Why?

I would make everything man-made disappear.
From buildings to hospitals to clothing to languages.
It would cause the death of many millions intantaneously, then many more billions over a genration.
Humans would be shot back to being weak, defenseless animals and no longer be the dominant species on earth.
Then I'd give he little bastards one more chance.

They'd have to start from scratch.

And I would not tell them I exist.

Well, seeing as how I've let so much suffering persist on this planet for so long, I'd like to end it with a cherry on top.

First off, I'd place an (imaginary) grid over the entire planet. At surface level, each intersection of this grid would be say...1 kilometer from the other.

Then, at set intervals, objects would fall from the sky and target the grid intersections. Objects would vary in size from 1cm - 1km. Objects are made up of randomly selected elements. This continues until I'm bored - which is a long time.

I would bring all the material shit that people buy to life and watch as angry flat screens and hummers wreaked havoc upon those who thought that all life was about is ataining material goods, I think it would be ironic when the things they worked their entire lives to collect ended up being the death of them. For everyone else who doesnt have cool stuff, they would get killed by the gravity turning from a downward pull to an upward push, I feel like it would be kind of a rush for them.

Overnight, make a double for every human, the double doing the exact same things, saying the exact same things as the original.
Why? I am quite sure this would bring on an apocalypse because most people couldn't stand the mess getting done.
