And that's the problem I have with practically all the Republican and Democrat candidates, excluding Paul and including Obama. This idea that we can continue to spend like this is preposterous and dangerous.

The question that SAM brought up and that you tossed aside as if it were unimportant was how would Obama pay for everything? Looks like your answer is "the same way Bush pays for everything."

The church is black-centric and not very welcoming to anyone of other races. Pastor Wright is a demagogue with racist tendencies. He is by his own admission a radical, and not in a good way. He’s about an inch from being a black separatist if you go by some of his rhetoric. Wright’s relationship with a man who wants to be president is relevant, but it’s not hard to see why Obama might be reluctant to answer hard questions about Wright-- his mentor. Obama owes voters clarification on where he does and does not agree with Wright. Does Obama agree with Wright that the US is the “United States of white America?” Is he running for the for the presidency of that country, or the one that actually exists?

I've definitely heard this sentiment before. But at the same time, there are many Republicans who can't stomach the thought of voting for McCain either. They're just going to sit out of the election.

I don't. All he'd be doing is siphoning votes from both parties, and the Republicans will hate him and blame him if a Democrat wins the presidency. It would be pointless. A third party candidate has no chance of winning.
