I have been trying to get an answer to this question in another thread but i decided that rather than keep diverting that thread i would make a new one Now for some background This is from the WHO http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs241/en/ And now Male circumcision. WARNING GRAPHIC (i would like to thank bell for finding this) http://www.cirp.org/library/procedure/plastibell/ Whats the difference? Both rarely use anaesthetic Both have no clinical purpose Both are painful Both are done as a child And oddly enough Male cicumcision is mainly desired by the father and female cirumcision is mainly desired by the mother (sorry no link for that, it came from a 7:30 report on FGM)
I agree that it shouldn't be done BUT if it is done I really don't think later in life the person is really going to give a shit about it. I mean they will just go on about their lives with or without foreskin. They aren't going to dwell upon itlike we are here that's for certain.
