DailyKos is urging Michigan democrats to cross over and vote for Romney to keep him in the GOP race and thereby ensure the Republicans continue "trashing each other"... "So why are we doing this? Because we can. Because it'll be fun. And because we've suffered Republican meddling, stealing, and disenfranchisement in our elections for far too long." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59649 I think Romney is going to win MI with or without the loony left. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I read the article. Interesting. Machievellian... but interesting that they advocate such a method. Don't those tactics usually fail anyway? ~String
In the end, voters (the one who actually vote) are generally to frightened of throwing away their one chance to voice their opinion to actually create such a ruckus. ~String
Sandy you want a choice of the "best" candidates if this is a legal way to make sure that happens then good luck to them
It was sucsessful during Joe Liebermans senatorial race. Where the Conservatives voted for Lieberman over their own Alan Schlesinger. In fact, about 60% of them did!
Hmmm... but those were legitimate expressions of ideology: People from Connecticut genuinely like Lieberman and wanted to see him elected. In the case of Michigan (we don't have open primaries in Ohio), this is a tactic to derail the Republican presidential race. ~String
It is a abuse of their democratic privileges. I'd be really pissed if my candidate lost and I had to vote for some jackass republicans set up. Speaking of which, I kind of thought that Republican media helped Kerry take down Dean last time.
