Here's a chance to test your knowledge on climate change. It's just a ten question quiz: http://www.globalwarmingheartland.org/GWQuiz/Testindex.html I scored a 9 out of ten.
all alot of places over state the problem this site understates while not the hugest possible problem it should be considered a problem the earth can deal with the natrual factors but we screw with the balance of the system with are actions and that is potential really bad
I scored 8 out of ten answering according to my impression of the politics of the Heartland Institute and my guess that this was not an honest "test" (I missed one because I thought it was a trick question about "earth" instead of "earth's atmosphere", instead of simply a misleadingly phrased question). The "facts" section is of course mostly nonsense. They still have the bogus stuff about the satellites showing a recent cooling, even - debunked for years now.
Besides being plain wrong, the test is obviously flawed in many ways. Here's a paradigm of one such flaw: What causes erosion? a. Gravity b. Electrons c. Water and Ice d. Abrasion
What happens when you drop a hot nuclear reactor core on clathrate deposits? Or blow one up with a nuclear weapon? Instant warmer winters?
