Janeway didn't really pay much attention to it because in saving seven of nine she worked for her own selfish needs. and yes she becomes a admiral lol
Pretty much everything is ridiculous when it comes to Sci Fi.

Not really. Have you ever seen a single Star Trek episode?

    Why?

The Empire is EVIL. If we took a modern land/air mixed battle group, the US Armed Forces would simply firebomb and/or napalm the Ewoks into oblivion, then mop up the rest with tanks and APC's supported with infantry... easy win.
WTF ??? If the troopers would have been aided by a tie-bomber squad they just had to hide in the bunker and let the tie's doe the rest. This is beside the point.
to make a comparison you must have the same conditions.

No clone troopers are clones Stormtroopers are enlisted. Clones are indeed bred to follow orders no matter what. Stormtroopers are just mercanaries

Actually no, when you are able to fool the entire Jedi-counsel it is not so ridiculous lying to a wannabe Jedi like Luke.

An entire fleet near the planet and you can't even perform a bombardment... Besides, the plan was fairly good, but the stormtroopers are so stupid...

If he was lying... But, really, why not an entire legion? It would be logical.

When the Emperor Leaves his shuttle on the deathstar there is a Legion welcoming him. That is ten times the amount of troopers then those you see on endor.

I agree it would be logical that if you are defending your shield generator you should have a entire legion there at least. But don't forget that it was a trap.
The emperor just untherestamated the rebel force. If the ewoks didn't help the rebels none of discusion would take place because they wouldn't have a chance.

I have seen about 90% of canon Trek, both TOS and TNG, when they first aired, every movie and every series. I hate Voyager and Enterprise because I think they are boring.

Just finish 4 seasons of Farscape and curently watching season 2 of Andromeda. when finish i will watch season 3 and 4 of BSG. but i have 4kids and a demanding job so i don't have the time to watch everything.
