By the way would a ST party have been sitting there there skulls would be smash in.
The trek team would have detected the ewoks at least a hundred feet away.

Which begs the question of why the imperial scouts didn't spot them there and warn the others. Oh yeah, because they were DEAD.

If the imperial troopers survived then: 1. How did they lose? 2. Who the hell were the ewoks eating after the battle? 3. Why were those helmets they were banging on for drums have blood on/in them?

"An entire legion of my best troops await them."
    ―Emperor Palpatine[src]
Fact: The ewoks killed stormtroopers. End of story.

Umm a 2D map of star locations is FAR different than a 3D one with actual distances, and adjusted for movement of stars based on how far away they are. WE TODAY do not have a complete 3D map of the galaxy including updates, that I am aware of. (I think we have a good chunk of the local area done though)

    Ummm, bullshit?

Fact is that you cannot approach that kind of protection with conventional means. Ablative armor might, but it uses unconventional techniques.

Until you give us some proof, your lieing.

You mean the rather obvious domes on the bottom of the Mon Calamari cruisers? Those were just as easy to hit, in fact In any of the Tie fighter series you were able to gun them down quite nicely, in a standard Tie/ln (not alot of defense really on the cruisers.)

Oh and both ST and SW have the ability to target specific subsystems, which means the capital ships in Trek would simply lock on to the shield generators and fire a photon spread at them... ooops all your shields are belong to us.

First of Lord, its called spellcheck.

Secondly, the Mayans didn't actually map it that accurately. Actually their accuracy was pathetic. You want to know why?

Distance equals rate times f*cking time.

The Mayans did not have to worry about life and death situations if they were wrong.

If a planet is 10,000 light years away, then the current image you are seeing is a shadow of where the planet actually was. It may not even exist anymore, or there could be a black hole where it's star had collapsed. Or any number of an infinite amount of scenarios.

Its called special relativity, its science and it works bitches .

I'm talking specifically about the 3 we see taken out with Arrows to the neck area earlier in the fight...

ok. but the neck always has been a weakspot. Every armor has his purpose but also his weaknesses. btw a kevlar suit may stop a bullet but an arrow has no problem going trough. Hell use a crossbow and it doesn't matter if you wear a helmet.

dude english is not my language. and i really don't have the urge to spellcheck every single post.

Hey i'm not saying the mayans had a roadmap to the stars I just ment that a civilisation hundred of thousands of years more advanced than us would have no problem mapping the milkyway in a few hours. and the stars would actually still be on their place because they would scan the present milkyway not the lightversion we see. Trek would be able to do the same.

i hope i don't have to go into detail every single post. I thought you would be logical enough to actually see what i mean; Or did you really think that i don't know that the planets we see are the light of the stars and that a lot of them probably are long gone.

that is what i mean. If we today can map the local area in a thousand years we would be able to map galaxy's other than our own.

In a few hours? I'm sorry but that is the most idiotic thing I've heard of.

You can see at most 18,800 stars with your naked eye.

There are between 100,000,000,000-400,000,000,000 stars in the milky way galaxy.

Well, I am championing String Theory, well a version of it that states that there are infinite # or undefined # of dimensions.

    It was humor bro....

    god....

Did you even get my joke?

I do like some of the ideas of string theory. I am also pretty partial for loop gravity, if for no other reason then black hole entropy.

Neutron stars are not, I repeat not a singularity because it is not condensed infintely small, and relativity still applies. Neutronium are not I repeat not crystals, and singularities......DEFINETLY NOT LIKE ANYTHING DESCRIBED IN STAR WARS, TO MAKE ARMOR OUT OF THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE!

Meh...I really believe in String Theory, what can I say Will take me a while to explain way, so I won't bother

LOL singularity armor, infinitely small so you can't wear it

EXACTLY my point, and it will warp spacetime like you have never seen Prob send out gravitation waves....
