the feds are higher on morality then the Empire thats true. but it is ST vs SW not feds vs Empire

as for inertial stabilisers. finally some logic responce. it is not because they aren't mensioned in the movies that they aren't there.

In Star Trek, that only happens in backwards, backwater worlds or in hostile controlled space. Since the Nemesis incident, talks are open between the Remans and Romulans, the Romulans want to sign a peace treaty with the Federation, et all...

And I agree - I don't think SW has I-Stabs. They have gravitational manipulation of some sort... but Han calls them something else.

I prefer to take what Yoda said as meaning that, since they were able to Turn Anikin, they weren't sure WHO would fufill the prophecy. Otherwise it really degrades the ability of the jedi.

Drugs are pretty normal is some areas of the Galactic City (Corusant). Slaver is in the Empire and Hutts, but not in non-sith controlled republic.

Loads of stuff in Star Wars is capable of jamming, for example the Millennium Falcon. The Falcon is a very old ship by the way. It is almost standard procedure to jam the enemy before attacking.

i really don't know. but because you hardly see torpedo's fire at capital ships (except in rots) i presume they don't fire them because they use some sort of jamming. this would allso explain why Luke had to use the force to fire a torpedo in a trench. instead of just locking the target and make a fast run and fire wile passing by or dead-on.
I know that they don't mention any jamming device but i think it is the logical solution.

They actually did use jamming devices in the movie, for example when the Millennium Falcon jammed the TIE fighter heading for the Death Star.

and as the poor guy that got choaked i must say, Vaders devotion to his religion did not help him find the rebel's hidden base. if they could blow planets with the use of the force they would not have built DSs.

Yes he did pulled the trigger, he might of pulled the trigger a bit late.

the later the pull the better chances to hit he might have had, allthough he would have lesser chances of pulling up which goes badly for the X-Wing manoeverablity
besides the computer gave him the firing solution. he did not fire before it, ergo he did all by the book

Fighter damage, and yes 1 tower will be heavy damage. I doubt the sent more than 10 ships.

if one tower out of ten ships is heavy damage, how would they classify 50% casulties i wonder?

Fine... but the movies are HIGHEST cannon. If we see anything to contradict it there, it wins. No matter the reason. Or would you like to argue with Lucas of that one?

this has nothing to do with canon, it's simple logic and convention. the movies show a different story then some other media, so when we discuss we must specify what are we taking into acount.
