Is the post count accurate? How is it possible to create 23k posts? On the last forum I was on I made a little over 1600 posts in a year, there is no way I could ever manage 23,000.
just imagine a person with a lot to say and a lot of time in his hands Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Think about this, if you had nothing to do ALL DAY, besides coming here, and only had this forum to have fun at how many posts could you write in a day? Now multiply that by 5 years.
Yeah. I been her' for about 2 years or more, or so, and, ... I only have... 3000 posts, and, I don't post too much, so I can understand how ABSURD it is to post and post and post.
I'm totally anti-post count. It's a gimmick, but one abused by the hoarding type. I never realized how many whores reside here.
Ah... [foot in mouth] But off course, Sammy darling, I wasn't specifically thinking of you. But seriously—and admittedly I was being overcritical—I'm sure that a high post count is a valued asset in this community—it carries weight. So how best to up the ante? Post a lot of redundancy no matter what. And what do we get? Threads brimming with pointless and off topic bricabrac. But a brand new persona doesn't annex one's post count from the previous persona, does it SammyCD?
True form? And who has a better idea of one's true form but the person in sync with his? Everything else is secondary. Besides, I don't bow to a virtual community who never gives me reason to uphold a persona that's not appreciated, hence I'm at liberty to render it as I wish—a work in progress.
Holy shit, S.A.M. joined in 06! I was trying to comprehend SpuriousMonkey's 23k in five years, sam did 27k in one!
The post count is not nearly as high as it would have been if the Cesspool hadn't been created as a dumping ground for lost causes. (The Cesspool strips posters of the post's count towards their toll)
If it weren't for the Cesspool Effect monkey would probably have something approaching 100,000. Buy anyway yes, post count is the most reliable indicator of worth. Which reminds me: have I passed 6000 yet?
