Bobby Jindal easily defeated 11 opponents and became the state's first nonwhite governor since Reconstruction, decades after his parents moved to the state from India to pursue the American dream. Jindal, a 36-year-old Republican , will be the nation's youngest governor. He had 53 percent with 625,036 votes with about 92 percent of the vote tallied. It was more than enough to win Saturday's election outright and avoid a Nov. 17 runoff. And the liberals say we arn't ready to elect a black or a woman president, if the message and platform is in the best intrest of the country Americans will elect the best candidate, Congratulations to; U.S. Rep. Bobby Jindal, Republican, Louisiana, Now SpAM how you going to make this a bad thing?
What is with the hostility to links? • http://www.onelocalnews.com/chandlernews-dispatch/stories1/index.php?action=fullnews&id=81723 There's one. Note ... Barack Obama should change his name to Bobby. No, seriously ... I do wonder how many people would have voted for Piyush Jindal. The liberals have been wondering, since they've been getting so much feedback from "middle America". This is encouraging. Maybe "Bobby Obama" is going to win this thing. Anyway, congratulations "Bobby". And good luck.
It is still you liberals who are the ones posting that a Black and a woman can't be elected, as for me, and my conservative friend, there are several Blacks and Women that we would love to see run and we would vote for them.
No just a bunch of liberals that woke up and smelled the coffee, and saw how the White Democrats screwed the pooch.
