I'd like to take a shot at that question, but first I have a few questions and comments of my own:
'If you apply the brake'
First, a motorcycle has two brakes, that are operated independently.
The front brake is usually the lever on the right hand side of the handlebars, and the rear brake is the foot pedal on the right side of the bike.
So, you'll have to be more specific when you say apply the brake and lock the wheels up. Do you mean applying BOTH brakes and locking BOTH wheels up?
It's been years since I've been on a m/c so I'll make the best educated guess.
If you lock the front wheel up during a curve, I'd imagine it could do anything from throwing the ass end up off the ground a bit and rotate it around in the direction your are turning, to actually coming up off the ground enough to throw you over the bars.
Or if the back end is heavy enough, locking up the front wheel will just cause you to straighten up according to where you were in the turn, and continue to go straight until you stop, fall over, or collide with something.
If you locked up just the rear wheel, I'd imagine the ass end would continue sliding/rotating around (kinda like 180s in a car with the parking brake)until the bike slid out from under you or you maintained control of it and stopped. Speed would also play a factor in the bike's behavior.
If both brakes locked up, I'd imagine that the bike could behave in all or any combination of the aforementioned behavior.
Which army? The United States? If so, the quickest way out w/o taking a major hit on your record is to claim that you are gay (and prove it). My (straight) friend did that. He showed the admin phone numbers of supposed guys he dated and some other non-verifyable proof and they gave him an administrative discharge.Ok i got a question, i need answering, How do you get out of the army???? Like say you signed up, did the training and went to war. But when you got to the front line (or the fighting part), you decided right there and then that this wasn't for you and wanted to quit, could you do so?????
Another way is to fail a drug test with something worse than marijuana. However, this will get you an 'other than honorable', perhaps even a bad conduct discharge.

I've always wondered:
Why do we think about and spend billlions on living and working proficiently on the moon (or huge space station for that matter) when we can't even really do that in the middle of Antartica?

Is there life on Mars?
Are we alone in this universe?
Are there aliens amongst us?
Will there be WWIII?
Who am I?
Who are you?
Why am I not you?
Why are you not me?
Why do I ask myself the same questions all over and over again when I know that the answers to all of these question lay deep within me, yet I am still unable to comprehend this simple fact because I am unable to understand the specifics of the questions I seek to find answers on?
