The Random Question Thread
Post here the sort of random, otherwise-useless questions that you would otherwise never get around to asking, except that you noticed and now you wondered. For instance ....

It's something I noticed within a video game, but the thing is that I don't ride motorcycles. In fact, I only recently started experimenting within the video game, and I'm down to figuring out whether it's only certain motorcycles or if you're being chased by the police. I don't recall ever seeing this happen with bikes on the street, and have never heard motorcyclists talk about this happening, so I'm pretty sure I know at least part of the answer already:
• If you apply the brake on a motorcycle while in a turn and lock the wheels, why does this force the front wheel to straighten out, right the bike, and initiate a forward skid? Shouldn't the bike slide off the curve?
I suspect the answer is, "Huh? What do you mean? What the hell are you talking about?"
I had actually accepted the behavior within the game, and then yesterday, I kept a bike behaving more like I would expect (but can't know). So now I'm playing around with it, trying to figure out when and why the motorcycles in the game will behave like this.

The sight disturbs us because of our sympathy as animals with like creatures. People are more willing to show compassion for animals that bleed red. It's an evolutionary conflict, of a sort. We evolved eating things that bleed red, and we evolved to see red blood as an alarm.

i'll humour

i think that both the erection and the embarassement are resulting of the same thing, which is being in the pressence of an attractive person... it's the worst scenario for getting an erection, as you'd like to leave a good impression, but also it is ivoluntary and can't be helped
it is as long as you are honest to her about your intentions and she is consentingIs it moral to have sex with a girl who is not sex appealing and whom I do not love...but have no other choice and have a strong need in sex?
