    To the contrary! I maintain - along with just about everyone else - that the laws of physics apply across the entire universe with only one or two very rare exceptions. It's YOU who is claiming they are not - so show us YOUR proof of that ridiculous position.

    And I see I touched a nerve. That's confirmation enough (along with many of your posts) that indeed you are still very young and therefore undereducated. Thanks for making it clear.

    Laws of physics? From what I've read, it's nearly all theory, useful only in explaining or describing things for certain situations.

    As I recall, there is predicted to be another Island of Stability in the region of Z = 160, though I don't know of any efforts to try to create such an element. It would have to have quite a few more neutrons than simply fusing two Z = 80 atoms to reach the plateau of stability, so it would be exceptionally difficult to make. I'll have to go back and review some of that work from the 1970s making those predictions.
