    Aww, sweet.

My Bagga is small boned, slim and trim, but very fierce (you can see where his ear was clipped in a fight). He's also a touchy-feely chatty cathy, so I always miss him when I'm away.

They are very hard to build up.
You may already know this but if you want them bigger, you have to use more weight (if you're using the weight machines) with fewer reps. If you want them defined, you use less weight with more reps.
Calves (along with your abs) are two muscles that can be worked everyday, unlike the rest of the muscle groups that need a few days rest before they can be worked again. So whatever your gym routine is, you can add a set of calf raises onto every session.
Yeah I've been working them 2-3x's a week training them appropriately (the gastrocnemius with heavy weights + low reps on standing calf raises, soleus on seated calf raises with low weights + high reps + high sets as well as dumbbell toe raises for my tibialis anterior).

Seeing as you're a cyclist (although more of a bmx'er), are your calves jacked at all?

    Mine are just too small.

    Thank you pretty lady.

That physique was achieved after a year of serious bulking and training at the gym. Without that, I would've been a twig.
