Engine trouble, led to difficulties in keeping the plane in the air. Then he crashed into the middle of nowhere.

Since he didn't file a flightplan we can safely assume he was running drugs and got hit by columbian drugs dealers when purchasing a new stash of coke. A transaction turned foul.

There's not enough choices in the poll, so I couldn't check anything.
Everything is speculation ....is that what we all like to do all the time? Are we so impatient for an answer that we make up our own? Geez!!

You're a genius. I think he was kidnapped by aliens, and is an alien himself, and he converted to Plazma, that he is both dead and alive at the same time, and that he is hiding out in Nevada with a mouse... er... like a mouse....
or something.
