my blood pressure is 114 over 60. That means nothing to me.
What is the highest blood pressure a person can have and live? 300 over 250?

Duration of high B.P. is also important.

What kind of duration of high B.P.you are expecting?

Many peoples pressures rise and fall during a day. If you check it on the hour daily and find that it continues to be 130 over 80 or higher then see a doctor for that is elevated blood pressure which has been determined to be a bad sign in your general health condition.

I'm just saying if it that high or higher every hour on a day to day reading then you should see a doctor. That doesn't mean you'll die only that you have a problem, perhaps with your arteries or heart.

If a person had incredibly high BP, would he have a heart attack first or a stroke?

    Your Blood pressure is unusual.
Did a doctor tell you that, or did you measure it yourself?
