It's getting worse. Now Amos Brearly is dead as well. :bawl: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6983016.stm remember his catchphrase: "Nay, Nay Mr Wilks"
This is terrible. No-one cares about Pavarotti and no-one cares about Amos. Or perhaps people are so grief stricken that they can't say anything.
I barely know of Pavarotti and I haven't a clue as to who Amos is. I'm not gonna pretend grief I don't feel.
You mean when I say "Nay Nay Mr Wilks" or "Seth Armstrong, you are barred" You don't even feel a tiny tiny bit sad?
I'm sure you have heard of 'Nessun Dorma' before, maybe you just didn't associate it with Pavarotti. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VATmgtmR5o4
Are you sure Aretha Franklin has done a rendition of Nessun Dorma??? My bad just discovered that she has.
agreed. my fav opera singer. no one in the last 60 years comes close. especially Andrea Boceli. Pavaroti's voice makes me emotional... every single time i hear it
I'm with Orleander. Pavarotti barely registers with me and the other guy does not rind any bells at all. My main thought on hearing of Pavarotti's demise is "Cancer? I'm surprised heart disease or other obesity-related diseases didn't kill him a long time ago."
