    35 hours officially, but we've been asked to do an extra 10 hours per week "voluntarily" (if we don't do it voluntarily they'll make it compulsory

    ).
    But the overtime is only temporary and it's paid.

    "Work" is a relative term.

    I "work" zero hours per week - but I get paid well for it.

    Well let's see.
    Work = Force * distance
    Force = mass * acceleration

    If my mass is 85 Kg ....

    at the moment i work around 4 hours per day, 5 days per week and i take home around 500 pw,

    wich is total slave labour and i will not stand for it. i used to work about 2-3 hours per day and get paid twice as much,

    oh and people in england work more hours than anybody else in the developed world, so a new report from the UN tells me,

    i have some figures here infront of me. according to the united nations over 7 million people work over 48 hours per week the % of other nations ppulation that work over 48 hours per week are as follows.

    france-14.7 %
    ireland-11.6% (lazy bastards)
    norway-5.3% (your worse than the drunken lot)
    the US-18.1%

    peru tops the list of develpoed countries with a staggering 50.9% of its working population doing over 48 hours per week.

    peace.

    Belgium doesn't seem to have any numbres proberly because of the large population who work overtime without the officials knowing abouth it.

    hey that list is slightly wrong, because the UK should not be marked as a whole, 4 different countries with 4 different levels, england alone has the highest rate according to new studies from the UN, if you average out the UK all as one it will show bias results,

    because ireland wales and scotland have very low % rates.

    if you study england on its own, it has the worlds highest according to the very latest statistics.

    peace.
