I would be honest with my wife regardless what religion she was.
I would not have a marriage based on deception, because that would not BE a marriage, in my opinon.
A relationship based on deception is a farce of a relationship, and I'll have no part of it.
I couldn't be happy living with someone I was dishonest with, and if I am not happy in a relationship, then I will get out of the relationship.

I was once told by a Muslim that the reason Muslim men are allowed more than one wife is because they understand that man can not be faithful to only one woman, because it is in his nature - so it is preferrable for a man to have mulitple wives than to cheat on his wife because there is nothing frowned upon in Islam more than being dishonest. There is no greater sin than dishonesty, in Allah's eyes.
